Bob Hearts Abishola Season 1 Release Date: When will it premiere?

‘Bob Hearts Abishola’ season 1 premieres on the fall of 2019, debuting with its pilot episode on CBS on September 23, 2019. It then follows a weekly schedule, airing one episode every Monday at 8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT.

It is part of the network’s strategy to focus more on African-American representation â€" including other titles such as the courthouse drama ‘All Rise’ and psychological mystery drama ‘Evil’.

CBS has already confirmed that it wishes to stress on its improvement in diversity with a number of new projects featuring African-American leads. The channel’s long-term goal is to make its programming more representative.

As per Thom Sherman, Senior Executive Vice President, Programming, CBS Entertainment, “The shows going on air have a lot of inclusivity and authentic representation and we’re very proud of the work that we’re doing and it won’t stop.” (thecinemaholic.com)
